Alisa Harmon, the director of HARMONIZE, lives in Montclair with her children. She is a professionally trained singer who has been teaching music to children since she was 14. When motherhood altered her career in banking, she recaptured her love for children's music by teaching for several national music programs including Music Together, Music for Aardvarks & Other Mammals, Rockin' Horse Music, and High Scope.  She has since moved on to writing her own zany music curriculum. She now spends her mornings with babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers who enjoy music that truly celebrates childhood.  Her afternoons are filled with more singing as she modifies her music program for pre-schoolers with Autism and other special needs in the Montclair Public Schools.  Above all, her highest and greatest calling is that of mother to her amazing children: Tanner, Zoe, Eva, and a tiny angel baby, Liam, who now lives in heaven and watches and listens to Mommy singing lullabies.

Zoe Jade is a college student who enjoys accompanying Alisa in class.  She is a singer/songwriter who is recording a CD.  Her bright, happy demeanor, beautiful voice, and finesse on the guitar add richness and dimension to music classes.  Zoe is also the office manager of HARMONIZE: Rock, Play, Groove and a part-time nanny for several families.
Eva Tess is a high school student.  She will debut as Harmonize's newest guitar accompanist during the Summer 2012 session.  Her kind, gentle spirit adds a nurturing quality to the music she so beautifully interprets and presents on the guitar.  She is an excellent student and a star athlete in Montclair High School's softball program.  She also really digs '60s and '70s music.

Rick Celano received his first guitar from his grandmother at the age of ten. After learning a few Beatles and Pink Floyd songs, he began to write his own music. Also known as "Rickman," he can be found around the Montclair music scene performing solo, with Alisa Harmon and – although he has no offspring of his own – with Parents Who Rock. Being the oldest of six children, he has had quite a bit of experience with kids.

As a professional graphic designer/web designer, Rick keeps the Harmonize website and collateral materials up to date and beautiful. As a musician, Rick enjoys his time accompanying Alisa and playing with the kids in class.
