HARMONIZE: Rock, Play, Groove, directed by Alisa Harmon, is dedicated to the joy of making music, rather than merely consuming it. We offer music classes and parties for little kids where we rock, play, & groove. We also offer guitar and keyboard lessons for older kids, teens, and adults. A typical HARMONIZE class is all about rockin', jammin', singin', dancin', groovin', and playin'. Babies, toddlers, and pre-schoolers "make music their own" in joyful surroundings. Alisa Harmon was the first licensee to bring hip 'n happenin' music for little kids to New Jersey a decade ago, and Montclair has been rockin' and groovin' ever since! Truth is, over the years, folks have traveled to us from Verona and the Caldwells, Glen Ridge, Bloomfield, Nutley, Clifton, Maplewood, Millburn, Madison, Chatham, Summit, and Short Hills! Our goal in a HARMONIZE class is not to teach music. Instead, we provide an environment in which children can experience music that is fresh, happy, silly, and relevant, with simple lyrics that mirror their lives. Little kids, from tots to pre-teens, can really rock! Young children express their musical tastes very early, and HARMONIZE: Rock, Play, Groove is just the place to explore and foster that love - that need - to share the music inside of them. Besides, we have a jammin' good time!
